Biography
Bruce's busy litigation practice focuses primarily on property, casualty and errors and omissions insurance defence work. Bruce also handles litigation relating to commercial disputes, particularly disputes arising from commercial tenancy matters and patent, trade mark and copyright infringements. He has considerable experience in estate planning matters and estate administration files, and has trial experience regarding the interpretation and validity of wills, and dependents' claims.
Bruce has taught the Law Society of Alberta's Bar Admission Course, at the University of Alberta Law School (1992-1996) and at the University of Alberta School of Business (2001-2003). He has written and presented papers at various seminars, most recently for the Canadian Institute in September 2004. He is Chairman of the Salvation Army's Local Citizen's Advisory Board and was a member of its National Citizens Advisory Board from 1998-2004.
Bruce is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Edmonton Estate Planning Council.
