Michael Kraus

Biography

Michael practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and family law. He has appeared at all levels of courts in the Province of Alberta, before various administrative tribunals, and at alternative dispute resolution hearings.

Michael is a member of Emery Jamieson LLP's Personal Property and Insurance Practice Group and is chair of the firm's Family Law Services Practice Group.

Michael has been an instructor with the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Alberta Bar Admission Program. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association and Edmonton Bar Association.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys hockey, soccer, skiing, mountaineering, mountain biking and golf. He also enjoys conversing in Czech with his Czech speaking clients.
