Darin S. McKinley

Biography

Darin joined Emery Jamieson as an articling student in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Darin served a 12-month clerkship at the Federal Court in Ottawa, where he articled to the Honourable Mr. Justice Michael A. Kelen.

Darin studied law at the University of Alberta, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2007.During law school, Darin was a member of the Editorial Board of the Alberta Law Review, and served as the publication's Co-Editor-in-Chief during the 2006-2007 academic year.

Prior to entering law school, Darin obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from what is now the University of British Columbia Okanagan.

Darin is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.

In his spare time, Darin likes curling, playing softball, and spending time in the Okanagan.
