Biography

Frederica has acquired considerable expertise in general litigation. She has appeared before every level of Alberta courts and before various administrative bodies.

Frederica is the 1990 Gold Medallist in Law, University of Alberta and the recipient of the Lloyd W. Gardiner Prize in Trusts, the Master L.D. Hyndman Prize in Professional Responsibility, the Life Underwriters' Association of Canada Prize in Insurance Law, the Louise McKinney Scholarship for Law, and the Board of Governors' Prize in Law, amongst others.

Frederica is a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta, various Canadian Bar Association Sections and is on the CBA Alberta Council. She is past Co-Chair of the CBA Alberta Creditors' Rights Section and has been appointed to Law Society of Alberta Committees, most recently planning for the 100th Anniversary Conference. Frederica also belongs to the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and is Coordinator for the Habitat for Humanity Society Legal Build 2008.
