Biography
Stuart joined Emery Jamieson LLP in 1994 and is a partner with the firm. Stuart regularly appears in the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta on behalf of institutional and individual clients. Stuart has a litigation practice which includes the areas of employment, creditors' remedies, corporate commercial litigation, professional negligence, insurance, insolvency and personal injury.
Stuart is a council member of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and a public member of the Certified General Accountants of Alberta's discipline and appeal tribunals. Stuart is a past chair of the Creditors' Rights and Young Lawyers' Sections of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and is a past section co-ordinator of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. Stuart has been an instructor with the Legal Education Society of Alberta and is a former member of the board of directors of the Art Gallery of Alberta.
Stuart is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Edmonton Bar Association.
