Ally is a litigation associate and has successfully represented clients in the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, Provincial Court of Alberta, and the Alberta Human Rights Commission. He has experience assisting clients in many different areas of law, including employment law, professional liability, civil claims, family law, and tenancy disputes .
During law school, Ally was involved in Student Legal Services, Pro Bono Students Canada and the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. In these roles, Ally acted as co-agent on a three day Alberta Human Rights Tribunal hearing which concluded with the written decision of Andric v 585105 Alberta Ltd. o/a Spasation Salon & Day Spa, 2015 AHRC 14. This decision obtained national media attention.
Ally also interned with the Provincial Court of Alberta, which allowed him to regularly observe excellent trial advocacy. While attending law school, Ally received several awards for academic achievement, including the JDO Mothersill Memorial Bursary and the James Burgess Memorial Award.
