HAT Copy Tristan Patterson

Tristan joined Emery Jamieson as an articling student after obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. Prior to law school, he served nearly 11 years as an infantry officer with the Canadian Armed Forces.

During law school Tristan served on the executive of two clubs, volunteered with the USchool program, and worked in the legal department of an Alberta board. While enrolled as a student, he was also a Teaching Fellow with the Peter Lougheed Leadership College, teaching Arts and Business courses to an interdisciplinary group of students. Tristan completed his law degree with Distinction and on the Dean’s List.

Outside of the office, Tristan volunteers widely. He serves on a several boards including a local not-for-profit and a national charitable foundation. Most importantly, Tristan has a happy young family. Some day, he will have enough time to return to hobbies like hunting and backpacking.
