HAT Copy Jeremy Hoefsloot

Jeremy Joined the firm as an articling student in 2022 after graduating with a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. During law school, Jeremy served as the Executive Coordinator of Student Legal Services. During his tenure with Student Legal Services Jeremy helped establish the organization’s Human Rights Project, advocated for more equitable treatment of homeless people in Edmonton, and improved access to justice for University of Alberta Students. In addition to serving as the Executive Coordinator, Jeremy worked as a criminal project caseworker for Student Legal Services.

In addition to his law degree, Jeremy holds a Combined Honors Degree in Political Science and Philosophy and a Certificate in Ethics from the University of Alberta.

Prior to law school, Jeremy worked in federal politics as a campaign organizer. Jeremy also has experience working on cattle ranches and other rural-agricultural settings.

Outside of work, Jeremy has a love for tabletop hobbies and birdwatching.
