I am a litigation lawyer focusing on commercial disputes and workplace-related matters.
As a member of Emery Jamieson’s Employment Practice Group, I have assisted both management and employees on a wide range of matters including, wrongful dismissal litigation, severance review, termination practices and privacy issues.
I act for several businesses in Edmonton and surrounding areas and am routinely asked to review and draft employee agreements, executive compensation packages, independent contractor agreements and workplace policies.
As a litigator, I assist clients navigate through commercial leases, construction contracts and shareholder disputes.
I have successfully represented clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal and other bodies such as the Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service.
I have experience in residential real estate, environmental law, defamation law, personal injury and garage keeper’s liens.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, ball hockey and eating unhealthy food.
