Kirsty joined Emery Jamieson in 2019 as an articling student. Kirsty has a general civil litigation practice and is active in several of the firm’s practice areas, including employment, bankruptcy, professional regulation, wills and estates, construction and commercial disputes.
Kirsty received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with Honors from the University of Alberta and her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan.
During her undergraduate career, Kirsty completed several internships working in research labs focused on regenerative brain therapies. During law school, she was involved in Student Legal Services, the Legal Advice Clinic, and several clubs and extracurricular teams. Kirsty also received several awards during academic career, including the Upper-Year JD Academic Achievement Award.
Kirsty was born and raised in Edmonton. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, biking and exploring Edmonton.
