Terence Arthur

Terence carries on a general practice and assists clients with a broad range of legal matters including general civil litigation, commercial and residential real estate, wills and estate planning, construction and builder’s liens, employment, insurance, professional liability, personal injury, family law, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, foreclosures, landlord and tenant matters and commercial litigation. Terence has successfully represented clients in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta.

Prior to completing his education, Terence worked as a lifeguard, retail associate and construction labourer for almost a decade. He graduated with Honours Distinction from the University of Waterloo in 2013 and graduated from the University of Alberta where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2017. Prior to joining Emery Jamieson LLP, he practiced law in a rural setting in the Town of Vegreville in the Province of Alberta from 2017 until 2021, practicing in many different legal areas with clients involved in farming, agriculture, energy, waste disposal, construction, and various trades.

Terence has a large degree of experience working with clients from all walks of life and welcomes the opportunity to assist clients with their legal needs in an accessible manner.
